YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF PRACTICAL ASTROLOGY FOR REAL LIFE
BREW #90

You wanna know how I feel about this week's full moon?

It feels like Daddy's coming home.

And I wanna impress him.
I want him to be proud of me.
I want him to look me in the eye and say, “Good girl.” 🥺

And I know what that takes.

It’s gotta look clean. It’s gotta look intentional. He wants to know I’ve made progress on my goals. And if I haven’t? I better be able to clearly articulate what got in the way.

Because I’m not just lighting a candle and making a wish.
I’m basically attending a board meeting with my benevolent benefactor.

My cosmic sugar daddy.
Chairman of the karmic board.
The CEO of spiritual ROI.
(That’s Capricorn, if you’re new here.)

And listen — the board is ready to review my file.
They’d love to grant me funding. Sign the check. Stamp the big ol’ Capricornian “APPROVED” on my dreams and goals.

But they need to hear the pitch.

  • How am I doing so far?
  • What momentum have I built?
  • What’s my plan if I’m granted more support?

Because here’s the deal: the investment is me.
And the return on investment?
Anything that makes me more rooted, joyful, effective, present, clear, creative, and unstoppable.

So here I am, putting the finishing touches on my presentation for the board — overseen by none other than Daddy Capricorn himself.

The "finishing touches" I'm talking about are, of course, the blocks in the way of progress. It's the part of my pitch where I'll be actually asking for help.

As a highly ambitious sign, Daddy Capricorn is incredibly well-connected.
He will absolutely help remove obstacles — but only if you name them first.

He refuses to do the work for you.
Not because he’s cold.
But because he wants you to be strong.

So…
💼 What’s in the way, baby girl?
💰 How can Daddy help you?

Capricorn doesn’t do chaos. It wants a plan.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn—aka the zodiac’s Time Lord, the cosmic CEO, the one who asks:
“How have you been using your time?”

Not to punish you. Not to guilt you.

But to hold up a mirror and say:
Show me what matters to you.

Now—real talk:

A lot of folks associate Saturn and Capricorn energy with discipline and authority, and for good reason. But let’s be honest:

For many of us, especially if you’ve got trauma around control or perfectionism (
*cough* religious traume! *cough* authoritarian parenting *cough*)

Discipline can feel like punishment. Like restriction. Like failure waiting to happen.

So if the word “discipline” makes you want to run and hide or rage-slam your laptop, I get it.
But let me offer a reframe:

What if Capricorn isn’t asking for discipline in the way you were raised to fear it?

What if it’s asking for
devotion?

Because when you’re devoted to something—your healing, your vision, your joy—you don’t have to force yourself to show up. You want to. You choose to. You build rituals and routines not because you “should,” but because they anchor you to what matters most.

That’s Saturn’s kind of discipline:
Devotion that shows up in your daily life. In your habits. In your time log.

It’s not just about what you love. It’s about where you’re willing to show up—even when it’s hard.

So this Capricorn Full Moon is kind of like a quarterly check-in with your soul.

It’s asking:

  • What have you been devoted to?
  • Where have you been logging time?
  • What’s blocking you from showing up for the thing you say you want?

And this is the part I find so juicy:
Capricorn doesn’t just show us where we’re building—it shows us where we can resource our own sense of authority.

Whatever house Capricorn occupies in your chart is your throne. Your blueprint for where your sovereignty starts. It’s where you claim the right to take up space, lead, and be taken seriously.

As a sign of strategy, Capricorn is here to help you identify the block holding you back so you can finally remove it.

Because that’s what this moon wants to illuminate—not just the big dream, but the structural snag between you and it. This is cleanup energy. Structural audit energy. Sacred PowerPoint presentation to the Board of Your Becoming energy.

📝 Your Full Moon Prompt:

“What’s one thing I want to build or call in—and what’s actually getting in the way of me realizing my ambition?"

Get honest. Get clear. Because Capricorn wants to back something real.

Not a fantasy, not a vibe—something you're devoted to enough to log the hours and build the bones for.

This is your personalized breakdown of where this astro energy is hitting — and how to work with it, not get worked by it.

Check what house Capricorn rules in your chart—that’s the area where your personal “board meeting” is happening. It’s where you’re being asked to devote yourself to something real, sustainable, and deeply soul-honoring.

Aries Rising (Capricorn in the 10th House):

Career, public image, legacy
→ Daddy Capricorn is reviewing your résumé. Are you building a legacy you actually care about, or just chasing titles that sound good? The spotlight’s on how you show up out there. Time to align your ambition with your soul’s mission.

Taurus Rising (Capricorn in the 9th House):

Beliefs, long-term vision, spiritual wisdom
→ What big ideas are worth your devotion? This is your philosophical board meeting. Get clear on the beliefs and long-range vision you’re willing to back with your time, money, and effort. The real work? Walking your talk.

Gemini Rising (Capricorn in the 8th House):

Power, intimacy, shared resources
→ You're being asked to clean up energetic entanglements. Where are you leaking power or hiding from real intimacy? This house is deep, baby. It's asking you to devote yourself to the kind of vulnerability that transforms.

Cancer Rising (Capricorn in the 7th House):

Relationships, commitments, contracts
→ How you do partnership is under review. Are you building the kinds of relationships that support your growth—or just performing emotional labor? It’s time to clarify your boundaries and your longings. Be brave enough to ask for what you truly want.

Leo Rising (Capricorn in the 6th House):

Daily routines, health, service
→ This is your sacred systems boardroom. What rhythms do you need to thrive? It’s not about hustle—it’s about devotion to your well-being. Capricorn here wants you to build a body (and a life) you feel safe and sovereign in.

Virgo Rising (Capricorn in the 5th House):

Creativity, joy, pleasure, self-expression
→ How much joy are you allowing into your schedule? If it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t count. This Full Moon is asking you to prioritize play like it’s your job. Your creativity deserves a strategy, not just a someday.

Libra Rising (Capricorn in the 4th House):

Home, roots, safety, emotional foundation
→ You’re being asked to become the architect of your own safety. Are your foundations built on truth—or inherited survival scripts? Capricorn here says: tend to your inner sanctum. Build the home (internal or external) you’ve always craved.

Scorpio Rising (Capricorn in the 3rd House):

Communication, learning, mindset
→ You’re refining your voice. Not just what you say, but how you say it—and what impact it has. This is a devotion to clarity, to truth-telling, to conscious dialogue. Words are spells. Use them wisely. Build your message like it matters. Because it does.

Sagittarius Rising (Capricorn in the 2nd House):

Values, money, worthiness
→ This one’s personal. Are your ambitions rooted in real self-worth, or are you trying to prove your value through performance? Capricorn here says: build slow, build solid, build sacred. You’re resourcing yourself to walk in earned confidence.

Capricorn Rising (Capricorn in the 1st House):

Identity, presence, self-leadership
→ Your whole vibe is under renovation. Who are you when no one’s watching? This moon is asking you to get serious about the identity you’re building—one rooted in integrity, not image. The world’s watching, but your soul gets the final say.

Aquarius Rising (Capricorn in the 12th House):

Subconscious, rest, spiritual hygiene
→ Time to clean the back end of your brain. This isn’t productivity work—it’s soul work. Rest is the ritual. Your board meeting happens in a dream or a meditation or a moment of stillness. Don’t sleep on your need to... literally sleep.

Pisces Rising (Capricorn in the 11th House):

Community, vision, collective contribution
→ You’re building a bigger table. What dreams are you devoted to not just for you, but for us? This moon wants you to root your ambition in shared liberation. What does your soul want to contribute to the whole?

From Ash's Corner

Last night, I had a moment of panic.

I was mentally preparing this “presentation to the board,” aka my full moon intentions, and I thought:
“What if I don’t deserve what I’m asking for?”

Like… what if I’m not worthy of building something so big and beautiful and soul-aligned?

And that’s when it clicked: this is the block. I have a worthiness block.

Capricorn in my second house is all about value, self-worth, and sustainable success. And damn if this full moon isn’t stirring every tender root of that up for re-evaluation.

Am I worth my biggest dreams?
Am I allowed to want this much?
Am I allowed to build it with rest, rhythm, and pleasure at the center?

(The answer is YES, but only if I read the fine print and allow myself to truly devote myself to it...aka devote myself to my path and my inherent worthiness.)

THIS 👆 is why I consistently just love astrology. I love the framework of clarity it gives that allows me to continue coming back to myself over and over and over again.

That alone provides a lot of validation for moments when I'm think, "Man! Am I doing this right?"

I always have the validation of looking at my chart and realizing "oh, shit, yeah, that's exactly on par."

It’s helped me release urgency.
It’s helped me trust my timing.
And it’s kept me from burning out chasing things that were never aligned in the first place.
