YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF PRACTICAL ASTROLOGY FOR REAL LIFE
BREW #103

Listen, things are about to get weird.

I'm telling you this now so that when it does, you won't be caught up with everyone else thinking "omggggg, WTH is going on?!"

Because I'm telling you. Right now.

So lock in because here's what + why it's getting weird.

2025 has been the year of The Set Up.

I call it laying track.

If you think of your goals as a train running station to station, before those daily routes are run through + relied upon...they had to be built. Painstakingly, gruelingly --- with manual labor. Not an automation or hack in sight.

That’s 2025.

A massive rebuild. Society, politics, personal life, energetic climate—all of it’s been under renovation.

Why? Because this year, every single one of the big planets—Jupiter through Pluto—changed signs. We haven’t seen this level of planetary musical chairs in well over a century — Jupiter through Pluto all shifting signs in one sweep. It’s a total rewiring of the cosmic backdrop, and our lives are catching up.

Now Comes the Weird Part

We’re entering the reflection round.

Each of those planets is hitting reverse for one final lap through the signs they just left, giving us a last chance to recalibrate before they cruise into new territory for good.

(When I say “for good,” I mean long-term. Pluto’s next stop lasts about 20 years, so yeah—buckle up.)

Here’s the quick-and-dirty version:

  • Pluto just went direct in Aquarius (after a May–Oct retrograde).
  • Uranus is retrograde in Taurus until Feb 2026—then it heads into Gemini.
  • Neptune is retrograde until December, preparing to move into Aries.
  • Saturn is retrograde in Pisces until late November, then also drifts toward Aries.
  • Jupiter will retrograde Nov 11–Mar 2026 but stay put in Cancer.

That’s a lot of cosmic back-and-forth. Translation? Expect reruns, revisits, and do-overs—especially around the themes that popped up for you earlier this year.

As if the retrogrades weren’t enough, they’re overlapping with some of the most uncompromising seasons in the zodiac — the ones that take no prisoners and tell no lies:

Scorpio is a sign of intensity, power, shadow, and intuition.
Sagittarius is a sign of chaos, underestimated ferocity, and passion.
Capricorn is a sign of strategy, cold calculation, and ambition.
Aquarius is a sign of innovation, vision, and detachment.

Together, these signs don’t coddle—they initiate. They push for clarity, for ownership, for choosing your next era consciously instead of reactively.

So yes, things are weird. But now you know why.

Scorpio season is an interesting time for retrogrades. It’s naturally secretive, protective, and reflective—she keeps her cards close and her power closer. She’s a plotter, an intel-gatherer, and not to be fucked with.

🗣️ Work with her.

If things feel heavy or emotionally dense, this is why.

And yes, it’s holiday season—which means you either started blasting Mariah Carey on November 1st OR you're refusing to let spooky season die. Either way, bear in mind: we’re still moving through Scorpio Szn, a season ruled by death, release, and deep submission.

So basically… The Holidays, but make it spooky and a little kinky.

LMAOOOO.

When in doubt this season, don’t chase clarity—cultivate safety.

Scorpio energy moves underground; it thrives in privacy, intimacy, and deep trust. So if you’re not sure what’s next, don’t force an answer. Light a candle, pull a card, take a long shower, stare into the void—whatever helps you feel like your own safehouse again.

The insights will surface when they’re damn well ready.

This is your personalized breakdown of where this astro energy is hitting — and how to work with it, not get worked by it.

Here is where I'll do more of a breakdown of WTF it means and where to look for transformation and invitations. Bada-boom!

From Ash's Corner

2025 is for laying track which means 2026 is when we run the routes. 🚂💨

What you've been planning, preparing, and dreaming of is coming. It's probably going to look different than what you thought but it's coming. This is your season of final preparation to become ready for what you said you wanted.

So...how are you preparing? 👀

Because that’s where we all are right now: in the preparatory process.
And this process requires your discipline, your devotion, and above all—your presence.

Your raw ability to just be with what is right now, without distracting yourself or trying to escape it. Even though it's uncomfy. Even though it's heavy.

So, if you want to be ready for 2026—not in a hurry-up-and-hustle kind of way, but in an embodied I-am-who-I-need-to-be-to-make-this-happen kind of way—
then this is The Work™️.

And unfortunately, we cannot rush this part.

Look at it this way: if muscles need tearing to grow stronger, why would your mind or spirit be any different?

Our capacity for discomfort mirrors our capacity for joy and wonder.
So if you’re in a hard, uncertain season, treat it like a training session. You’re stretching so that when the good stuff lands, you actually have the capacity to hold it.

And if that ⬆️ IS you right now, then allow me to welcome you to the cosmic gym. We’re all in here, sweating under pressure. The only difference is in how you meet it.

It’s either pressure you’re rising up for consciously—because you’re ready greet the winds of change and opportunity—
OR it’s pressure that’s flattening you because the safety of your current misery feels cozier than the unknown.

Either way, the weight’s on the bar.
What are you gonna do with it?

HOW TO WORK WITH ME THIS MONTH

If you vibed with the Practical Woo Tip, you’re gonna love my intro coaching sessions — basically a personalized version of that on crack.

In the first ten minutes, we drill down into what’s energetically present for you and get tactical about what to do with it...even if you don't actually know how to fully articulate what's going on. (It’s part of a larger framework I use — you can read more about it here.)

If clarity is what you’re craving in this Scorpio season of early darkness and uncertain steps, my books are open.

Thanks for reading!

In cosmic camaraderie,

CURRENT ASTRO SEASON 🪐

UPCOMING BIG SKY EVENTS 🌛

We’re in the amniotic waters of Pisces season, to dream one last dream before the birth of Spring and forward momentum at the start of Aries season later this month. Expect inspiration, daydreams, strong intuitive sense, and nightmares. Pay attention to what symbols pop up for you right now. These are keys to your expansion and indicators for how you’ll take action once we get that Aries fire in our engines.

Even though the eclipse portal is now closed until we experience the Fall eclipse portal (that will actually start at the end of August), we’re in what’s called an eclipse shadow period – which just recognizes that we just experienced a shake up of energy and it’ll take a few days or weeks for us to adjust to how it feels and find our footing. Drink water, rest up, be kind to yourself.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME 🤠

AFFIRMATION OF THE WEEK 📚

I have one spot for monthly coaching opening up next month in April. I'm looking for a leader deep in their own season of uncertainty who doesn't want to navigate it alone. You want a thought partner who takes the science and the magic equally seriously — nervous system work, neural pathway rewriting, and self-trust repair — and who meets you exactly where you are. More info here if that’s you.

The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and to be stretched large by them.
