YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF PRACTICAL ASTROLOGY FOR REAL LIFE
BREW #111

I am in constant conversation with the rhythms around me.

Catch me listening to the wind, hearing the way it snakes through certain trees when it brings rain, how it keeps to only the crowns when it's snow.

Catch me face up to the sun, noticing how he kisses my face with a bit more intensity each morning as he rises earlier and earlier to get a head start on the day.

Catch me noticing which birds are returning home first this spring, celebrating the simultaneous return of their friend, The Land, with songs to match each new blossom.

God is alive in a thousand unspoken heartbeats, all around me. Pulsing with Life and inviting me to join her rhythmic dance which is expressed in:

🌻 Seasons
🪐 Astrological cycles
🌜 Moon time (both mine + la luna) and
🧙‍♀️ Maturity milestones throughout life

I am always dropping waypoints for where I'm at in the larger dance of the cosmos by using these rhythms. Like dog-eared pages in a trusted reference text.

And that right there is the biggest difference in how I use astrology: I never use it for prediction. Astrological events do not provide any metric for success based on what did or did not come to pass. It's not a promise you're capable of keeping or breaking.

But that's where (and why) so many get lost—in the minutiae of memorizing 108 different details that barely mean anything to you. In the dazzling rays of alignment speak or in the panic of prediction anxiety.

But that doesn't really serve us, does it? This form of using astrology as an organic formula for predicting the future of a planet filled with creatures of higher consciousness and freewill —I just don't see how that could be the best use of a system like this.

Astrology is living prophecy and YOU are the oracle. You are the divine agent of your own life. The constellations simply provide a rhythm we can tap into to see how + why our inner visions and archetypes unfold in real life.

Are you hearing the keyword here? Rhythm.

And here's the thing about rhythm: you can't fuck it up. You're either in sync or offbeat, and even if you're offbeat, you're still a part of the song.

Yesterday's song—a 3/3 full blood moon eclipse in Virgo—was a concerto about purging perfectionism from our lives and inviting the clarity, depth, and nuance we've been suppressing to surge forward and fill the void left in its place.

No doubt you saw a SLEW of astrology tiktoks or internet takes telling you what Fate beheld you. When you could expect it to hit your life. But the question isn't did it hit for you. The question is: where did it hit? Where is this rhythm coming alive in your life?

That's my frustration with how people approach astrology — getting lost in "what does it mean?" instead of "what trajectory just rolled out for me?"

One is predictive, boring, and fails to consider you as a divine agent in your own life. The other is invitational, collaborative, and filled with mischievous muses daring you to have some fucking audacity.

So let's talk about where this rhythm is asking us to show up right now because the current sky is not being subtle. I said concerto and I meant it: this is a crescendo of energy that means big shifts.

001 // we have a full moon (point of culmination and clarity) in the sign of precision, service, devotion, and depth (Virgo).

002 // This is happening while Mercury (ruler of Virgo) is retrograde (a time for pausing + deep consideration) is in the sign of connection, spirituality, and delusion (Pisces).

003 // AND! It's an eclipse — meaning the shifts are meant to be so complete, it expands + collapses timelines to bring us into a better trajectory for our truest selves.

The house you have Virgo in is going to show you WHERE to apply your precision to support who you are becoming, where to be of service, what area of life deserves your devotion, and where you're called to honor your depths.

The House you have Pisces in, therefore, is showing you where to consider that it IS that deep, how this connects to something greater (and why), and where you're meant to be delulu to support this next 6-month era of Virgo-sanctioned growth.

You ready?

This is your personalized breakdown of where this astro energy is hitting — and how to work with it, not get worked by it.

Virgo eclipse with Mercury retrograde in Pisces is a moment when precision meets prayer, devotion meets delusion, and systems meet surrender.

♈ ARIES RISING: Virgo in your 6th | Pisces in your 12th

This eclipse is coming for your infrastructure, babe — your routines, your body, your work systems, the invisible labor you quietly sustain every single day. Precision here isn't aesthetic, it's medicinal. And Mercury retrograde in your 12th is whispering that this isn't just about productivity — it's about your spiritual hygiene, the subconscious patterns running in the background, the quiet burnout you've been too busy to acknowledge. Where are you over-serving? Where are you secretly running on fumes? Be meticulous with your habits and absolutely delusional about your healing. You are building rituals for the next version of you — not the survival version.

♉ TAURUS RISING: Virgo in your 5th | Pisces in your 11th

Your joy deserves refinement right now — not perfection, refinement. This eclipse is asking you to get honest about what (and who) actually lights you up, versus what you've just gotten used to. Mercury retrograde in your 11th is meanwhile doing a slow revisit of your friendships, collaborations, and community dreams — who aligns with who you're actually becoming, and who was just convenient? Take your creativity seriously and take your long-term vision spiritually. You are absolutely allowed to be delusional about the kind of love and audience that's coming for you.

♊ GEMINI RISING: Virgo in your 4th | Pisces in your 10th

Something is culminating around home, family, or your emotional foundation — and Virgo here wants you to tend your inner soil like it actually matters, because it does. This is the private work that makes the public work possible. Mercury retrograde in your 10th is meanwhile doing a full review of your career direction, your public identity, and the role you've been playing in the world. This is a recalibration between private security and public visibility, and it's a holy one. Be precise about what you need to feel rooted, and be absolutely, unapologetically delusional about the level of impact you're allowed to have.

♋ CANCER RISING: Virgo in your 3rd | Pisces in your 9th

Your words matter right now — conversations are culminating, something in your writing or messaging or everyday communication is sharpening into focus, and this eclipse is essentially asking you to edit your own narrative. What are you saying that no longer fits? What have you been saying sloppily that deserves more care? Mercury retrograde in your 9th is meanwhile doing a deep revisit of your beliefs, your spiritual frameworks, your big-picture philosophy. What story have you genuinely outgrown but are still telling out of habit? Refine how you communicate and expand what you believe is possible. Let your mind be devotional right now. It’s an upgrade, not a crisis of faith.

♌ LEO RISING: Virgo in your 2nd | Pisces in your 8th

This eclipse wants precision around what you tolerate and what you charge — full stop. Where are you underestimating your own resourcefulness? Where have you been accepting less than what you're actually worth because it felt safer or more polite? Virgo in your 2nd is calling you to devote yourself to your own value like it's a spiritual practice, because honestly, it is. Meanwhile Mercury retrograde in your 8th is stirring the deeper waters — intimacy, shared finances, emotional entanglements, power dynamics that maybe you've been politely ignoring. Get honest about what's actually happening there. Be meticulous about your worth and be completely delusional about the wealth you are building. You are not here to play small with your resources, material or emotional.

♍ VIRGO RISING: Virgo in your 1st | Pisces in your 7th

Oh, this one is personal — and you already knew that, didn't you? This eclipse is landing directly on your identity, your body, your whole sense of self, and it's asking: who are you becoming, practically? What habits and ways of moving through the world actually align with that version of you? Because the old skin is ready to go and Virgo in your 1st doesn't want you to just vibe your way into the next era — it wants you to build it with intention. Mercury retrograde in your 7th is meanwhile revisiting your partnerships, your contracts, your mirrors. The people closest to you are reflecting your evolution back at you right now, whether you asked them to or not. Be precise about who you are now and be wildly, embarrassingly delusional about the kind of partnership you deserve.

♎ LIBRA RISING: Virgo in your 12th | Pisces in your 6th

Something private is completing itself — a subconscious pattern, a hidden anxiety, a quiet grief you've been carrying around so long it started to feel like personality. Virgo in your 12th is asking for gentle, honest organization of your inner world — not a teardown, just a tender audit. What can you finally put down? Mercury retrograde in your 6th is meanwhile asking you to reconsider your work routines and your relationship to your own body. You do not have to martyr yourself to be useful, and this eclipse would very much like you to sit with that. Devote yourself to rest like it's a radical act and be absolutely delusional about how supported you're allowed to feel — because you are more held than you're currently letting yourself believe.

♏ SCORPIO RISING: Virgo in your 11th | Pisces in your 5th

Community clarity is here whether you wanted it or not — who's in, who's out, and what collective mission actually feels aligned with who you're becoming? Virgo in your 11th wants strategic friendships and intentional alliances, not the chaotic "sure, let's collaborate" energy that ends in resentment. Meanwhile Mercury retrograde in your 5th is doing a slow, tender revisit of your romance, your creativity, and your relationship to joy. What have you been taking too seriously? What have you been not taking seriously enough? Be precise about your long-term vision and be fully, unabashedly delusional about how magnetic your creativity actually is. People are more drawn to what you make than you are currently willing to accept.

♐ SAGITTARIUS RISING: Virgo in your 10th | Pisces in your 4th

Something is reaching a turning point in your career and public life — recognition, redirection, or a full reckoning with the role you've been playing in the world. Virgo in your 10th wants excellence, not ego, and it wants you to be honest about where those two things have gotten blurred. This is your call to devote yourself to your actual standards, not the ones that look good from the outside. Mercury retrograde in your 4th is meanwhile cracking open family themes, home decisions, and emotional roots — because your ambition needs a stable foundation, and the foundation is asking for some attention. Be precise about what you're building toward and be completely delusional about how high you're allowed to climb. The ceiling you're imagining is not real.

♑ CAPRICORN RISING: Virgo in your 9th | Pisces in your 3rd

Something is clarifying in the realm of education, publishing, spiritual direction, or your broader philosophy about how the world works — and Virgo here wants integrity in your worldview, not just sophistication. What do you actually believe now, versus what you've been saying because it used to be true? Mercury retrograde in your 3rd is simultaneously reviewing your communication patterns, your contracts, your everyday language, and possibly some sibling or close-community dynamics that need a second look. Edit your language and expand your philosophy in the same breath. Be devoted to truth and be absolutely delusional about the doors that fly open the moment you fully claim it.

♒ AQUARIUS RISING: Virgo in your 8th | Pisces in your 2nd

Intimacy and shared resources are reaching a turning point — and Virgo in your 8th wants clarity on what's actually owed, shared, and merged in your life right now. Not the polite version of that conversation, the real one. Where have things gotten murky? Where are you owed more than you've been asking for? Mercury retrograde in your 2nd is meanwhile doing a full review of your income streams and your sense of self-worth, which are more connected than you maybe want to admit. What do you actually need to feel secure? Be precise about your financial agreements and be wildly, joyfully delusional about your earning potential. You are not at your ceiling. Not even close.

♓ PISCES RISING: Virgo in your 7th | Pisces in your 1st

Relationship reckoning has arrived — and Virgo in your 7th is sharpening your partnership dynamics with a kind of loving precision that might feel uncomfortable at first. What's actually sustainable here? What needs adjusting, renegotiating, or honestly just ending? This eclipse wants you to be clear about what you expect from the people you're committed to, which first requires you to admit what you actually want. Meanwhile Mercury retrograde in your 1st is deeply personal — you are in full identity review mode, re-meeting yourself, reconsidering your voice and your direction and what you actually want to be known for. Let that be a gift, not a crisis. Be precise about what you expect from others and be outrageously, spiritually delusional about who you are becoming. Because she is something else.

From Ash's Corner

6 months ago, I was entering a season of solo parenting, the longest stint since the 6 months I did postpartum, when Aaron was sent to a military training four days after the birth of our second son. 🫠

Now? I'm halfway through another round of solo parenting as Aaron finishes the last of his new training. But this time is different.

My kids are bigger, for one. I'm returning to old stories to rewrite them with what wisdom has now taught me. I have a confidence in me that was still so tender and hopeful at the last eclipse that has since calcified into something much deeper and unshakeable.

Virgo is in my 10th house while Pisces is in my 4th: so I'm balancing career, leadership, reputation (10th house) with family foundations, security, and home life (4th house). AND WOW, IF THAT AIN'T EXACTLY WTF IS UP.

The eclipse has unlocked so many ideas I've been incubating but been stuck on for not even just the last six months, but for YEARS. (Did you catch my sneak peek Story from yesterday of my productive putzing?)

I didn't even realize it until writing this, but I joined a thought leadership program that started during the eclipse portal, too. 😱

Of course, I'm balancing all this in the deep waters of what motherhood requires of me in this season of life with a 12 year old, 10 year old, and 8 year old boy -- and not letting that overwhelm me. Instead, letting it anchor me. Allowing myself to be nourished by how present I am required to be in both these arenas of my life.

The path forward, for the first time in a long-time, feels clear.

Not easy, per se. But clear.

So, how are YOU feeling with all this, Reader? What trajectory unrolled itself for YOU?

Is it becoming clearer? Is the dust still settling? Hit reply, I love hearing about what everyone notices for themselves and how it lines up astrologically. ✨

Thanks for reading!

In cosmic camaraderie,

CURRENT ASTRO SEASON 🪐

UPCOMING BIG SKY EVENTS 🌛

We’re in the amniotic waters of Pisces season, to dream one last dream before the birth of Spring and forward momentum at the start of Aries season later this month. Expect inspiration, daydreams, strong intuitive sense, and nightmares. Pay attention to what symbols pop up for you right now. These are keys to your expansion and indicators for how you’ll take action once we get that Aries fire in our engines.

Even though the eclipse portal is now closed until we experience the Fall eclipse portal (that will actually start at the end of August), we’re in what’s called an eclipse shadow period – which just recognizes that we just experienced a shake up of energy and it’ll take a few days or weeks for us to adjust to how it feels and find our footing. Drink water, rest up, be kind to yourself.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME 🤠

AFFIRMATION OF THE WEEK 📚

I have one spot for monthly coaching opening up next month in April. I'm looking for a leader deep in their own season of uncertainty who doesn't want to navigate it alone. You want a thought partner who takes the science and the magic equally seriously — nervous system work, neural pathway rewriting, and self-trust repair — and who meets you exactly where you are. More info here if that’s you.

The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and to be stretched large by them.
